Dr. Lyddy graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in December 1984 and became a licensed chiropractic physician in the states of Connecticut and Wisconsin in January, 1985. Dr. Lyddy practiced as chiropractor in Milwaukee, WI until August 1986, when she returned to CT to set up her chiropractic practice in her home community. She is currently practicing in Shelton, CT where she owns and operates the Reservoir of Health, a chiropractic practice consisting of all natural health services. She also currently holds a chiropractors license in the state of Vermont.
Dr. Lyddy was born in Bridgeport, CT in 1955; her early education included St. Teresa grammar school, St. Joseph High School, both in Trumbull, and she graduated from University of Connecticut, Storrs, in 1977 with a degree in Physical Education/ Athletic Training.
Her desire to bring natural, alternative healing methods to the people of her community has inspired her to offer different types of health providers under one roof so that a patient can utilize a combination of treatments, depending on specific needs.
Dr. Lyddy has become very proficient in several different chiropractic techniques, receiving her post doctorate speciality in pediatrics with a Diplomat in the International Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics. She is also a Master in the B.E.S.T. method – Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique. This approach utilizes light touch, nutrition and patient education to provide the patient with the ability to change the direction in life to a more healthful one. With her extensive background in physical ed & sports it was also natural for Dr. Lyddy be an early adopter of Kinesio Tape when treating patients with muscle spasms or similar soft tissue issues.
